Back in Business
Hello friends and family. I'm back. Sorry our Wadsworth story was absent for so long. This whole blog thing is just tough for me. Writing to the air and hoping someone is reading. I stopped cause I was thoroughly convinced there was NO one reading. But at the request of ONE who has had 5 long months of checking for updates, only to see the familiar pickle of an Ephraim, I shall begin anew! :)
So we now have our beautiful addition of our angel Emeri as many of you know, and she is coming up on her three month celebration this next week. This blog post is dedicated to her since she has yet to make her world wide web debut. And especially since she has a very proud accomplishment she'd like to announce. So I'll let her say a few words....
Well I think the picture says it all. Our lil' Emeri slept a whopping 8 hours straight last night. Mommy fed her at 11pm, and was awoken by Daddy bringing her into the bedroom after his morning shower at 7am. It was marvelous to sleep all the way through the night. I realize to continuously pull that off, I'll have to arrange her schedule to fit mine, when I go to bed. But even if its hit and miss for a lil' while, she's shown her stuff, and there's no denying it this girl's got potential! :) Ooooh I do adore her! I also absolutely adore my little Ephraim. He's sooo fun. Last night before bed we played London Bridge (a personal favorite of his), Duck Duck Goose, (he had difficulty understanding why he had to sit instead of run in a circle when mommy got goosed) and of course the classic ring around the rosie. But not only is he so adorable, he is so mischievous. A VERY VERY good boy, but increasingly mischievous. Today after walking at the mall, he was playing at the tree house playground there, and mommy had to wander around to find where one of his shoes might have fallen off. Well in the 1.5 min of wandering that mommy did to look for his shoe, he did a lil' wandering of his own. And soon mom was looking for him instead of the shoe. But he was no where. Give it one more min and real panic would have begun to settle in, but luckily a lady walked into the playground asking "Is someone missing a little boy?"
Ahhhhh, relief. "Yes, he's mine!" Then the shocker.... "He was wandering outside. He'd pushed the handicap button and walked right out of the mall."
Yes I felt like the most negligent mother ever, but no I am not. I am just extremely grateful to my Father in Heaven for keeping an eye on my little Ephraim when I could not. Something that could have ended up tragic, instead was just a good scare.
So that's the latest of us Wadsworth's. We're all doing swell, and the more I know people actually read my floating internet words, the more inclined I will be to continue writing them.

Halloween
Well this was Ephraim's first celebrated Halloween. The real first one consisted of mom sitting at home with him all alone while Daddy worked at the MTC. Not very festive. Although mom did attempt wrapping my legs and arms in toilet paper to make me a mummy. I would have none of it. Luckily this Halloween she came up with a much preferred costume of a pickle! Don't ask me where the idea came from, I think it was Dad. Anyhow mom has a really nice visiting teachee who is super gifted with sewing. So Rachel Callan took a few hours of her day and helped to craft the stunning costume. Mom put on the final touches with my bumps, and proper stuffing. It was a little awkward walking with all that stuffing on my back, but if I ever fell down it was a pleasant landing. :) Mom and Dad were Ketchup and Mustard to complete our adorable condiment family. Plus their shirts helped people straighten out their guesses that I was a turtle, or the like. And the ward thought it deserved the best family costume award. So we won a prize! Didn't really deserve it, considering how simple Mom & Dad's costume's were... but we'll take it.
Overall I give Mom and Dad an A- for my first Halloween celebration. And they only lost marks because they forgot my bag of candy at the church. And frankly for all the walking and collecting I did down the church hallway I think I deserved to take home my bag and enjoy my goodies!

Diaper Suprise
Ephraim played Yahtzee with Mom and Dad tonight. It was a race to see how quickly he could get between Mom and Dad to pick up the dice after we rolled them. Unfortunately this required a quick look, and sufficient memory to make the wisest move, and correct calculation of points on our part. At one point he got the dice and when retrieved from his grasp, only four were found. We joked that he probably was hiding the last one in his diaper, but thankfully found it under a sheet of paper moments later. Sadly though our diaper joke held true later that evening when we found a lil' yellow circular chip (bout the size of a nickel) lodged nicely in his stinky. It was one of the chips used in Yahtzee for some reason unknown to me. Anyhow it just reminds me of my lil' siblings and their clever tactics of hiding valuables in their diapers. And so it begins with my darling son.
Speaking of being a lil' darling I do need to give him credit for much improved behavior at Church today. Church has been difficult for him overall because of the time frame, and nap interference etc... But last week was a whopper to say the least. I had to take him to my YW Presidency meeting right before church, cause Adam had PPI's. And lets just say I don't recollect a time where I've been more frustrated and aggravated with my child since he's come into my life. He was KING KONG of FUSSINESS and refused to be consoled with granolla bars. Mainly because his mother refused to allow him to pull down metal chairs and hurt himself. In the end I held him in my arms by the door and allowed him to flip the light switch on and off to keep him from screaming. Needless to say the other women who I serve with were very patient with the whole situation. And afterwards Mommy had to take a walk around the block to cool down sufficiently to attend Sacrament meeting.

Birthday BOY
(Oh P.S. tried uploading all the sweet videos multiple times, and they never worked. Maybe they are too big, but they'll be on my facebook for all to enjoy.)

Who woulda thought paper toweles?
Ephraim and I have been having a lot of fun together lately. He is such an adorable lil' boy, with such an expressive personality. Adam and I find ourselves just watching him do his thing, with content smirks on our faces. Whether he's just climbing from one end of the couch to the other, or sitting contently playing with a colored pencil while babbling to himself, he is our most cherished form of entertainment! Anyhow I was tiding up his room today and he started attacking this roll of paper towels with shrieks of excitement. So I tried to catch a quick clip of it for his wife to watch someday, and this is what I got. Sorry the lighting is so bad. Oh and then here are a couple shots of him when he saw his old jumper and tried to get in it before it was set up off the ground. Yes, he got stuck and whimpered for a hand to come free him.
