Well this was Ephraim's first celebrated Halloween. The real first one consisted of mom sitting at home with him all alone while Daddy worked at the MTC. Not very festive. Although mom did attempt wrapping my legs and arms in toilet paper to make me a mummy. I would have none of it. Luckily this Halloween she came up with a much preferred costume of a pickle! Don't ask me where the idea came from, I think it was Dad. Anyhow mom has a really nice visiting teachee who is super gifted with sewing. So Rachel Callan took a few hours of her day and helped to craft the stunning costume. Mom put on the final touches with my bumps, and proper stuffing. It was a little awkward walking with all that stuffing on my back, but if I ever fell down it was a pleasant landing. :) Mom and Dad were Ketchup and Mustard to complete our adorable condiment family. Plus their shirts helped people straighten out their guesses that I was a turtle, or the like. And the ward thought it deserved the best family costume award. So we won a prize! Didn't really deserve it, considering how simple Mom & Dad's costume's were... but we'll take it.
Overall I give Mom and Dad an A- for my first Halloween celebration. And they only lost marks because they forgot my bag of candy at the church. And frankly for all the walking and collecting I did down the church hallway I think I deserved to take home my bag and enjoy my goodies!
